Curd is not only good for your stomach in such a hot weather whereas, it is also very beneficial for your face. It works wonders for all skin types. You just need little time and to identify your skin type which face pack is suitable for you.

Here, I am with different types of Curd face packs which can work wonders for your skin.


1. Curd, Honey and Chickpea Flour Face Pack (For Dry Skin)
Ingredients:
A tablespoon of curd
A tablespoon of honey
Half a cup chickpea flour face pack

Directions:
1. Mix all the ingredients and form a paste.
2. Apply it on your face, forehead, and on neck area.
3. Wait for half an hour
4. Gently wash off with cold water using circular motions
5. Pat dry and moisturize

How it works:
Honey helps moisturize the skin and refine the pores, and it helps give the skin a new texture too. The lactic acids in curd helps lighten the skin tone and exfoliate the skin. It also helps cool and calm the skin and prevents it from losing collagen and elastin in the bargain too. Chickpea flour here acts as a detox agent, skin refining agent and an exfoliator. It helps with anti wrinkle and anti ageing too.

2. Curd and Multani Mitti Face Pack (For Oily and Acne Prone Skin)
Ingredients:
1 Tsp of multani mitti
1 Tsp of curd

Directions:
1. Mix all the ingredients and form a paste
2. Apply it on the face and the forehead and the neck
3. Wait for half an hour
4. Gently wash off with cold water using circular motions
5. Pat dry and moisturize

How it works:
Multani Mitti acts as a detox agent, skin refining agent and an exfoliator. It helps with anti-wrinkle and anti-ageing too. Multani mitti removes the excess oil, dirt and grime from the skin and helps in maintaining the pH level to the skin and refreshes the skin as well.

3. Curd, Gram Flour and Banana Face Pack (For Sensitive Skin)
Ingredients:
Half a cup gram flour
One large over ripened banana
Half a tablespoon of curd

Directions:
1. Mix all the ingredients and form a paste.
2. Apply it on the face, forehead, and neck.
3. Wait for half an hour
4. Gently wash off with cold water using circular motions
5. Pat dry and moisturize

How it works:
Banana smoothen the texture of the skin, and balances the pH levels of the skin. Gram flour is used as a skin refining agent and an exfoliator and it removes the excess oil, dirt and grime from the skin and helps in balancing the pH level to the skin and naturally refreshes the skin as well.

4. Curd, Honey and Lemon (For All type of Skin)
Ingredients:
Half cup of curd
Two Tbsp honey
One tablespoon lime juice

Directions:
1. Mix all the ingredients and form a paste.
2. Apply it on the face and the forehead and the neck.
3. Wait for half an hour.
4. Gently wash off with cold water using circular motions.
5. Pat dry and moisturize

How it works:
Lime juice is a natural astringent which helps refine the pores and also helps shrink them too.

5. Curd and Lemon Face Pack (For Oily Skin)
Ingredients:
Half cup of curd
Half cup of lime juice

Directions:
1. Mix all the ingredients and form a paste.
2. Apply it on the face and the forehead and the neck.
3. Wait for half an hour.
4. Gently wash off with cold water using circular motions.
5. Pat dry and moisturize.

How it works:
It improves complexion because there would be no place for whiteheads and blackheads to form, since orange peel combats the issues. With curd in it as a mix, the lactic acids found in curd can help exfoliate the skin tone and remove the upper layer of the superficial skin which comprise of dirt, grime, dead skin cells etc. This is how the skin complexion for oily skin can be treated at home.

6. Curd and Sandalwood Powder Face Pack (For Sensitive Skin)
Ingredients:
Half cup of curd
A Tbsp of sandalwood powder

Directions:
1. Mix all the ingredients and form a paste.
2. Apply it on the face and the forehead and the neck.
3. Wait for half an hour.
4. Gently wash off with cold water using circular motions.
5. Pat dry and moisturize

How it works:
The lactic acids in curd helps lighten the skin tone and exfoliate the skin. It also helps cool and calm the skin and prevents it from losing collagen and elastin in the bargain too. Sandalwood on the other hand is best for sensitive skin type because it is cooling and calming as an agent.
