Curry Leaves for Healthy and Strong Hair

A. Curry Leaves and Coconut Oil
Method:
  1. Take four tbsp of coconut oil in a saucepan and put it on low flame
  2. Add some fresh curry leaves and let it boil until you see the leaves becoming black.
  3. Switch off the flame and let the solution cool at room temperature.
  4. Now strain and remove the leaves.
  5. Apply this oil on your scalp with help of your fingertips and massage for a few minutes.
  6. Apply it on the rest of your hair from roots to tips in such a way that every strand is properly covered.
  7. Leave it for one hour.
  8. Use your normal shampoo and conditioner to wash and condition your hair.

How it Works:
When coconut oil is mixed with curry leaves this solution becomes rich in hydrating properties because of nutrients like Vitamin B6 that strengthens hair shafts and its roots.

B. Curry Leaves and Yogurt
Method:
  1. Take some fresh curry leaves, wash them and put them in a blender.
  2. Add four tbsp of plain yogurt that is easily available in our home to the blender and blend.
  3. Pour the smooth mixture into a bowl.
  4. Apply it first on the scalp and later on your hair with help of a brush.
  5. Leave it for forty minutes.
  6. Shampoo and condition your hair.

How it Works:
This solution cleans the scalp by removing dead cells and impurities. It thus improves the health of the scalp and encourages strong and long hair.

C. Curry Leaves with Almond Oil and Olive Oil
Method:
  1. Take equal amount of olive oil and almond oil in a saucepan and add some fresh curry leaves to it.
  2. Now place it on a flame till the leaves turn dark in color.
  3. Remove it and let it cool.
  4. Strain and pour in another bowl.
  5. Apply this oil solution on the scalp and later on hair with help of your fingertips.
  6. Massage for a few minutes.
  7. Leave it overnight if possible and if not for as much time as you can.
  8. Shampoo and condition your hair.

How it Works:
All the three ingredients stimulate hair growth as it penetrates deep inside the scalp.

D. Curry Leaves and Milk
Method:
  1. Take half a cup of boiled milk and add some fresh curry leaves.
  2. Put both the ingredients in a blender to make a paste.
  3. Apply it on your scalp and hair.
  4. Leave it for an hour.
  5. Shampoo and condition your hair.

How it Works:
This solution strengthens hair follicles and stops hair damage.
